Biography
British artist Ernest Walbourn was a member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at the turn of the 20th century, and he specialized in rural scenes of bygone England. Ernest Walbourn paintings evoke an idealized past, with a style that is both realistic and dreamy. His work was popular during his lifetime, and he exhibited his artwork for 25 years at major exhibitions across the country.
